When you found trust, holding the hands of betrayal,

And warmth, confiding in the arms of nightmares..

When you sought serenity in the hearts of wrath,

And a contour of comfort, with the kiss of deception..

You knew you evolved.

You knew you kinda stumbled,

When you were lost,

Even as you walked through the known paths..

And experienced stagnancy,

Splashing and flowing through the cascade of memories..

When all the world was close, yet, no one ‘close’..

And that huge crowd around,

Couldn’t exactly abstain the loneliness from entering..

As you walked by those bad times,

You dabbed on the concealer to camouflage your scars,

With a touch up of the bright rosy tint on those self doubts,

And as you glammed it up with a gloss of hazy hope.

Darling, You simply learnt to shine like a star,

Amidst the dreary colossal nights.

When you appreciated the silence amidst the noisiest dilemmas,

And smelt petrichor in the storms of catastrophe,
